In order to fully diagnose and care for your teeth, your endodontist will likely want to take some digital x-rays. Using the latest and best technologies, Hawaii Endodontics can even use 3D imaging techniques, or cone beam computed tomography, to create 3D models of your tooth or teeth.

The benefits from the advancement of digital x-rays are hard to overstate. They provide far more detail than traditional film images, and can therefore more accurately diagnose a patient’s tooth problems. 3D imaging, in turn, allows our endodontists to more fully analyze your teeth from all angles.

Not only do digital films provide crisps images that can be viewed from our computers, they also minimize patient's exposure to radiation. Digital films require 90% less radiation than traditional film x-rays.
