Dr. Farid Brian Shaikh graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as Class President and Valedictorian. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through The Lutheran Medical Center at Kokua Kalihi Valley Health Center in Honolulu, and completed Endodontic Specialty training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He was inspired to become an Endodontist by his fascination with the complexity of the field, and the ability to relieve patients from pain. Dr. Shaikh passed rigorous multi-year written, oral and case report board examinations given by the American Board of Endodontics in order to become a Board-Certified Endodontist. He lectures nationally and has become known for several presentations, notably at The American Association of Endodontics Annual Conference in Boston Massachusetts, The Army, Air Force, Coast Guard and Navy Dental Symposium at Ford Island in Pearl Harbor, and The Lutheran Medical Center Endodontic Symposium in Honolulu. Dr. Shaikh also served as the President of the Honolulu County Dental Society.
